In the field of Logistics, first-cycle (engineering) studies are conducted in full-time system.

After completing the 7-semester studies, the graduate receives the professional title of engineer.

The education program in the field of Logistics was based on proven didactic models, taking into account local needs and trends on the labor market. It is also intended to provide graduates with the opportunity to continue their education at second-cycle (Master’s) studies.

Enterprise logistics
The graduate has knowledge in the field of information flow management and knowledge of the needs and functioning of the market. In addition, he has knowledge of managing the flow of raw materials, materials and finished products both within the enterprise and between economic entities within the so-called supply chain, starting from the sources of supply and ending with the service of the final customer. It is also prepared to manage the processes of storage, transport and inventory management. He can find employment in enterprises and production plants as well as logistics and warehouse centers.

Logistics of uniformed services
The graduate has extensive knowledge in the field of logistics, supply and transport. In addition, he has the necessary knowledge in the field of modern technologies used in the areas of operation of uniformed services. It is fully prepared to carry out analyzes regarding the current needs of uniformed services. He has appropriate competences in the field of modern supply planning, especially in crisis situations with which uniformed services have to deal. Maybe employment in all uniformed services as well as institutions and organizations dealing with crisis management.

Transport logistics
The graduate has knowledge in the field of designing transport systems and managing transport and distribution systems. In addition, he knows the methods and techniques of organizing, planning and controlling forwarding and transport processes. He also knows the latest technologies and techniques of internal transport equipment in logistics centers. He also has the necessary knowledge in the field of road transport technology, loading work and transport infrastructure. He can find employment in transport and forwarding companies as well as logistics centers.

Tourism

Tourism is studied by enthusiasts of travel, open to adventures, getting to know the country and the world, specialists in the field of individual and group trips; future specialists in tourism management. The study program in the field of tourism guarantees the knowledge of: the theoretical foundations of tourism, modern methods of researching tourism, the directions and trends of the contemporary diversity of the tourism market (various types and forms of tourism, including extreme types of tourism) in the context of natural and cultural conditions (environmental potential, globalization, sustainable development, transformation of landscapes). The study program includes content on customer service strategies, consumer behavior, marketing principles, labor market and business negotiations, as well as sociological and economic foundations of tourism and legal aspects. The program provides the opportunity to improve students’ technical and practical skills in the field of: developing thematic inventories and tourist valorization, mapping and imaging (visualization) of tourist attractions and values, creating maps (using GIS techniques); also includes items for developing customer service skills (ICT). The study program is complemented by courses aimed at getting to know the tourist potential of the world’s regions, as well as the degree and quality of tourist development. Tourist studies have a practical dimension, abound in apprenticeships in tourist companies and field trips, checking the ability to lead tours and prepare tourist offers. Students can choose from two specializations, taught by an interdisciplinary staff: tourism economy and cultural heritage. Education takes place in the system of two-year second-cycle studies. The faculty cooperates with numerous business entities and regional administration institutions. Field exercises and apprenticeships offered in the field of Tourism are an important form of cooperation with the economy and constitute an intermediate level in preparing graduates to enter the labor market.

Professional prospects Graduates of tourism are employed in travel agencies and tourism promotion, tour operators and tourist carriers, accommodation facilities, cultural and scientific institutions, museums, and in tourist organizations at the regional and national level. They are employed as guides in tourist facilities/areas and as domestic and foreign tour guides. They are tourism specialists in offices of all levels, e.g. in the departments of strategy and development and in the departments of tourism. Graduates of tourism are also prepared to run their own companies and enterprises offering tourist services.

Physiotherapy

Education in the field of Physiotherapy will take place in uniform Master’s studies conducted in full-time (daytime) mode.

The studies are addressed to people who have obtained a secondary school-leaving certificate and do not have health contraindications that prevent them from practicing the profession of a physiotherapist. The graduate will receive the professional title of Master.

A graduate of Physiotherapy will obtain education and professional preparation in accordance with the requirements in force in health care units – to work with sick and disabled people, primarily in the use of natural (physical) factors in prophylaxis and for treatment purposes.

In addition, a graduate of Physiotherapy: respects the principles of professional ethics, recognized cultural norms and human rights,
has the knowledge and skills necessary to shape, maintain, and restore the fitness of people of different ages in connection with the lost, reduced as a result of diseases or injuries, the efficiency of the body,
performs all physiotherapeutic procedures in an impeccable manner – adjusts its activities to the overriding goals of rehabilitation as part of the functioning of rehabilitation teams and controlling the effectiveness of the physiotherapy process,
works with team members to improve the quality of services.
The graduate will be prepared to work in health care facilities, centers for the disabled, sports centers and in education (after completing the teaching specialty). At the same time, they will master a foreign language at the B2 proficiency level of the European System of the Description of Language Education of the Council of Europe and will be fluent in a specialist language in the field of study.

Voluntary Insurance

Foreign students have the option of concluding a voluntary health insurance contract, below we provide important information:

 I would like to inform you that the possibility of concluding a voluntary health insurance contract applies to foreign students/doctoral students studying in Poland who do not have EU or EFTA or United Kingdom citizenship or the right to legally reside in one of these countries.

In order to conclude a voluntary agreement, you must submit: an application for voluntary health insurance, an identity document, a certificate from the university confirming the status of a student (the certificate is valid for 30 days from the date of issue). Documents can be submitted to the Regional Office of the Kuyavian-Pomeranian OW NFZ in Włocławek, located at ul. Kilińskiego 16 at 8.00-18.00 (Monday) and 8.00-16.00 (Tuesday to Friday).

  • completed and signed application to the Rector according to the model of the University – APPLICATION
  • a copy of the secondary school-leaving certificate (originals available for inspection when submitting documents),
  • copy of high school graduation certificate (originals available for inspection when submitting documents),
  • 2 identical, current photographs, in accordance with the requirements applicable to the issuance of identity cards, signed on the back with the name and surname of the candidate for studies.
  • digital photo (JPG format, size should not exceed 50 kB (400×500 pixels) on a CD or DVD
  • identity card, and in the case of candidates for studies who are foreigners, another document confirming the identity of the candidate for studies, available for inspection when submitting documents.

Kujawska Szkoła Wyższa we Włoclawku is a non-state-owned college founded in 1995 by the Włocławek Scholarly Association.
KSW offers courses at the bachelor’s degree, master’s degree and post-graduate levels in the following faculties: Administration, Pedagogics, National Defence, Vocational safety, Construction, Logistics, Transport, Nursing and Physiotherapy. Within each faculty course there are certain specialties. The College offers master’s degree courses in Pedagogics. The Faculty of Pedagogics obtained accreditation from the National Accrediting Commission; the Faculty of Nursing was granted a positive evaluation from the National Accreditation Committee of Medical Education.
KSW also offers a wide range of post graduate courses. The mission of KSW is to provide its students with a comprehensive education in the field of humanities and economics, linguistics and computer science, based on modern programs designed by renown specialists. KSW – apart from its educational activities – carries out a wide range of scientific research. Within almost 28 years of its operations, Cuiavian University in Włocławek has hosted and organized more than 120 international and country-wide conferences, seminars, scientific sessions and open lectures.

LIVING COST

In comparison to other European countries Poland is a relatively cheap place to live and study. Prices depend greatly on the city (Włocławek is one of the cheapest cities) and on the lifestyle of a particular person. Students may get by with about 500 € at their monthly disposal.

Completion of administration gives the graduate excellent orientation in these fields, as well as knowledge and practical skills, enabling him/her to work in various positions requiring knowledge of legal regulations and their practical application. The graduate has the ability to use general knowledge in the field of social sciences, especially law and administration sciences, as well as basic economic knowledge. He/she knows a foreign language at the B2 proficiency level of the European System of the Description of Language Education of the Council of Europe and is able to use a specialist language in the field of administration, law and economics to the extent necessary to perform the profession.
